Your FPL Team ID (also called an entry ID) is the unique number Fantasy Premier League assigns to your team. Every FPL360 tool that personalises results — the FPL Assistant, Season Planner, Manager Rankings and Team Name Generator — asks for it. Nothing here needs your FPL password.
What a Team ID looks like
A Team ID is a plain number, usually six or seven digits — something like 1234567. It never changes. The ID you were given the first season you played is the same one you use today, which is why FPL360 can pull your full season-by-season history from it.
It is not your team name, not your email address, and not your FPL login. It is purely an account reference, and it is public — the same number appears in league standings tables for anyone who looks.
Find your Team ID on desktop
This is the fastest method and takes about ten seconds.
- Sign in at fantasy.premierleague.com.
- Click the Points tab (or Pick Team, either works).
- Look at the address bar. The URL contains
/entry/followed by your number.
The URL looks like this, with the bold part being your Team ID:
fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1234567/event/12
The number after /event/ is the gameweek you are viewing, not part of your ID. Ignore it.
Find your Team ID in the mobile app
The official app hides the URL, so there is one extra step.
- Open the app and go to the Points tab.
- Tap the share or menu icon and choose Share Team (wording varies by version).
- Copy the link it generates, then paste it anywhere you can read text — a notes app, a message to yourself.
- The pasted link contains
/entry/1234567/. That number is your ID.
If your app version has no share option, open fantasy.premierleague.com in your phone’s browser instead and use the desktop method above. Mobile browsers show the full URL if you tap the address bar.
Find someone else’s Team ID
You do not need special access to see a rival’s ID — it is visible in any league you share.
- Open the mini-league standings table.
- Click the manager’s team name.
- Their
/entry/number appears in the URL of the page that loads.
This is how league-wide tools work. When you paste a league ID into the Mini-League Roast, it reads the public standings for that league and pulls each manager’s entry from there.
Why FPL360 asks for it
The Team ID is the key to the public read-only endpoints of the official FPL API. Given your ID, the API returns your current squad, your captain, your chip usage, your transfer history, your bank balance and your rank in every season you have played.
That is enough for the Assistant to build a game plan around the players you actually own rather than generic advice, and enough for Manager Rankings to show your best-ever finish across every season.
What the ID cannot do is change anything. The endpoints FPL360 uses are read-only. No tool on this site can make a transfer, set your captain, or alter your team in any way, and none of them ever asks for your FPL email or password. If a fantasy site ever does ask for those, do not give them out.
Common problems
“Team not found” or an error message
Check for stray characters. Copying from a URL sometimes drags in a slash or a space. The field wants digits only.
You used the league ID by mistake
League URLs look similar but contain /leagues/ rather than /entry/. League IDs go in league tools like the Roast; Team IDs go in personal tools like the Assistant.
The number works but shows no data
Before the first deadline of a season, there is no squad to read yet. Tools that need your picks will say so and fall back to general recommendations until Gameweek 1 has been set. Season history from previous years still works.
You have more than one account
Some managers create a second team for a work league. Each has its own ID. Make sure you are signed into the right account before reading the URL.
Save it somewhere
Because the ID never changes, it is worth storing once — in your notes app, or bookmarked as a direct link to your own Assistant page. Every FPL360 tool that takes an ID also produces a shareable URL containing it, so bookmarking any result gives you a one-click route back.
Frequently asked questions
Is my Team ID private?
No. It appears in public league standings and in any team URL you share. Treat it as public information, like your team name. Your password is the thing that matters, and no legitimate FPL tool will ask for it.
Does my Team ID change between seasons?
No. It stays with your account for as long as the account exists, which is exactly what allows season-by-season rank history to be assembled.
Can I change my Team ID?
No. You can rename your team as often as the rules allow, but the underlying ID is fixed. Only creating a brand-new account produces a new one, and that account starts with no history.
Do I need it to play FPL?
No. Playing the game itself never requires you to know your ID. It only matters when you want to use third-party analysis tools like the ones on this site.
