Evidence for transfer decisions — not tips

    What it is for

Find players that fit a budget, a position and a risk appetite; investigate one player's minutes, fixtures, availability and recent record; compare two to four players on exactly the same windows; shortlist them with the watchlist; and share the view. The decision modes (Transfer in, Captain, Differential, Budget pick) only change default filters, sort order and which columns are highlighted — they are not recommendations.

    Official data vs FPL360 model

Points, goals, assists, minutes, starts, price, ownership, status and news are taken directly from the official Fantasy Premier League API (refreshed every 30 minutes). 3-GW projection and Upside are FPL360 model estimates: projection = a base points rate (form, points per game and FPL's own expected points, shrunk towards a price-implied rate while fewer than three gameweeks are complete) × availability × minutes confidence × a fixture multiplier for each of the next three gameweeks. Upside is the next-gameweek projection with a position-based return bonus — a simple "if he returns" figure, not a percentile. Both are shown to the nearest point because the model does not justify decimals. Injured, suspended or departed players get no projection.

    Minutes and sample size

Participation matters: a player with 5 points from 5 minutes is not a value pick. Headline sorts and modes apply a minutes guard (45+ minutes this early in the season), and "last 3 / last 5" only appear once enough gameweeks are complete. Early-season labels say so ("1-GW sample") rather than implying a trend.

    Differentials, budget picks, captains

"Differential" mode lists low-owned candidates (under 10% ownership, ordered by projection then minutes); "Budget pick" favours price and points per £m with a minutes guard; "Captain" surfaces projection, upside and minutes confidence for the next fixture. They describe what the numbers say today; fixtures, rotation and injuries can change that within hours — check Team News before the deadline, and read the full methodology.
