How the winner is decided

The scoring is deliberately simple and visible: one point per category won. The manager who wins the most categories wins the head-to-head. If it’s level, we break the tie by Manager Rating, then by overall points. Every category result and the running tally are shown on the comparison, so there’s nothing to argue with — except who’s actually better.

Categories where either manager doesn’t yet have data are left unscored rather than guessed.

Frequently asked questions

Whose Team IDs do I need?

Yours and your rival’s — both are public FPL numbers from each team’s URL. No passwords, no sign-up. If you don’t know your rival’s ID, you can find it on your mini-league’s standings page on the official FPL site.

How is the overall winner decided?

Each of the 13 categories is worth one point. Whoever wins more categories wins overall. Ties are broken by Manager Rating, then overall points — and the full tally is shown, so nothing is hidden.

What if one of us has no data for a category?

That category simply isn’t scored. We only compare stats both managers actually have, so early in the season some categories wait until there’s data — we never invent a result.

Is this private?

Team IDs are public identifiers, so a rivalry link shows only public FPL stats for both teams — never any account details. Share it in your group chat and let the banter begin.
