To beat out LFC & Co?

Bayern Munich are trying to pull into the pole position when it comes to the race to sign Red Bull Salzburg‘s Karim Adeyemi. According to a report by Spox, the Rekordmeister currently weighs up a winter transfer for the 19-year-old German national team striker. Adeyemi, however, would not move to the club right away.

Reliable Spox reporter Kerry Hau reported on Thursday that Bayern Munich are considering an early transfer to beat out national and international competition—Liverpool, Barcelona, and Borussia Dortmund are interested, according to Transfermarkt information. Adeyemi is under contract until 2024 at RB Salzburg and has scored eight goals in the first ten Austrian Bundesliga games and also scored in his debut for the German national team.

Sky has previously reported that Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have contacted Adeyemi’s camp. Germany’s Bildin the meantime, reported that Bayern are favorites and that Adeyemi will leave Salzburg for certain next summer. Hau believes a transfer could take place in January and that Bayern will loan back Adeyemi to Salzburg—the length of the loan has yet to be determined by Bayern’s decision makers.
