Bukayo Saka is not the best player in Europe right now – he’s not even in the top-five.

That’s according to Gabby Agbonlahor, who has ranked the continent’s top stars after bold comments from talkSPORT colleague and Arsenal legend Martin Keown.

Invicibles great Keown was left with stars in his eyes after watching his beloved Gunners demolish Lens in a 6-0 Champions League victory mid-week.

Saka grabbed a goal and an assist in the Emirates onslaught, with Arsenal breaking a record to become the first team to score five goals through five different goalscorers in the first-half of a Champions League match.

After the game Keown announced his belief that England forward Saka is the best in Europe.

“Looking at Saka, we’re talking about the assists and the goals he scores – the best in Europe right now,” he said on TNT Sports.

But talkSPORT Breakfast hosts Alan Brazil and Agbonlahor disagreed and came up with their own ranking of the top-five players in Europe.

The former Manchester United striker and ex-Aston Villa captain both produced the exact same list – and Saka does not get a mention, and neither does Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah who is just one away from scoring 200 goals in a Reds shirt.

“First of all Saka is an outstanding talent, an unbelievable player, but I wouldn’t put him in the top five players in Europe at the moment,” Agbonlahor explained.

“In first place it has to be Erling Haaland. He’s got 50 goals in 48 Premier League games, a record, and he’s the top goalscorer this season with 14 – four more than Mo Salah.

“Number two I’d probably go with – on his day, because he hasn’t played for a couple of months – Kevin De Bruyne. What he did last season, 28 goal involvements in the treble win, he is outstanding.

“Number three, this is tough, but to be doing this at Real Madrid at such a young age, I’ve got to go Jude Bellingham. He’s been outstanding this season.

“Number four, Harry Kane. This guy doesn’t get the love he deserves. He scored 27 goals last season in the Premier League for a Spurs team that played defensive football, and he’s the top goalscorer in the top five leagues this season with 18 Bundesliga goals.

“And number five, Kylian Mbappe. This guy some people like and some people don’t,  but for me he’s an incredible talent, no other player like him. He wasn’t at his best against Newcastle, he was off it,, but he’s a top player and his pace and close control with the ball is scary. He was outstanding at the World Cup, too.

“Special mentions to Rodri, Saka and Salah – top, top players.”

Do you agree with Gabby’s list?
