A free FPL planner is a season view of your Fantasy Premier League squad: fixtures, projected points and chip windows, so you can plan transfers and lineups before the deadline instead of reacting to one gameweek. You should not hand over your FPL password.
On FPL360 that view starts from a Team ID. Open the free FPL planner, connect the side you own, and map the weeks ahead before the next cutoff.
Why FPL managers need a season planner (not just GW-to-GW)
Most mini-league weeks turn on one call: the captain, the transfer, whether a hit is worth it. Those calls are easier when you already know what the next six gameweeks look like.
Planning one deadline at a time treats every Saturday as a fresh problem. You scan the fixtures, note who blanked, and move the first attractive name in. That holds until a chip you meant to save collides with a fixture swing you never wrote down. Wildcard in a quiet week, Bench Boost into a blank, Free Hit because a defender picked up a knock: none of those look reckless on the night.
A season planner does not pick the team for you. It puts the rest of the calendar on one screen, so this week’s transfer can be judged against the run that player actually has. In a classic mini-league that is the useful edge. Your rivals are the people in the group chat, not the overall-rank list.
Prices move on their own clock. If a transfer is also a price play, check when FPL prices change before you lock it. The planner will not replace that check. It will tell you whether the player is worth the slot across the coming gameweeks.
What FPL360’s free planner does
The FPL360 planner is free. It does not ask for an FPL password, and it does not log into the official game. You connect a Team ID, the public number on your points page, and it loads the squad you are playing.
It stays inside a small set of jobs.
Team ID. Planning starts from your real 15, not a wish list. If you run more than one team, change the ID first.
Projections. It shows projected points so you can compare routes, not chase the last green arrow. Check team news before the deadline.
Chips. Use it to time Wildcard, Free Hit, Bench Boost and Triple Captain across the season, not only in the week the squad feels stuck. Average fixture difficulty, gameweek by gameweek, is a signal for chip timing: kinder weeks on paper, and weeks to hold a chip. You still decide if the bench is good enough for Bench Boost, or if Triple Captain belongs on the player you trust.
Fixtures. Compare fixture runs and spot the better windows, so a transfer is about the next cluster of matches, not only Saturday. That is the difference between selling after two awkward games and keeping a player because the four after that are why you bought him.
It will not submit the team or spend a transfer for you. You still confirm the lineup in Fantasy Premier League. The planner is the map. The deadline screen is where the move gets played.
Free FPL planner vs paid optimizers
Paid FPL optimizers are usually solvers. You set prices, constraints and a points model, and they return a squad they call optimal. A few ask for something close to your FPL login so they can pull the team. Refuse that. The official game never needs a third-party site to hold your password.
FPL360’s planner is free. There is no paywall on the season view, and no FPL password field. The honest trade-off is scope. A paid optimizer will often search thousands of squads and hand you one answer. This tool shows the weeks, the projected points and the chip windows, and leaves the call with you.
The word optimizer is used loosely. A planner maps future gameweeks and chip timing. An optimizer compares choices and projections so you can pick a stronger lineup or route. Neither should ask for your FPL password. If a tool’s main pitch is that it logs in as you, skip it.
How to use it before a deadline
Do this once the deadline is in sight, typically 90 minutes before the first Saturday kick-off in the UK, and earlier if there is a Friday game.
- Open the planner and connect your Team ID. If an ID is already saved, check it is the team you are playing this week.
- Scan fixture difficulty across the coming gameweeks. Note the kinder weeks and the ugly ones.
- Look at projected points for anyone you might move. Ask whether the gain lasts four fixtures, not one. A one-week punt is a Free Hit question. A four-week swing is a transfer.
- Place chips on the calendar before you spend a free transfer. If Bench Boost needs a playing bench, do not empty it this week to fund a luxury. If Wildcard is the later plan, do not burn it because Tuesday felt stale.
- Set the lineup, including bench order, then confirm it in the official game before the deadline. The planner does not submit for you.
Pair it with rotation and tools
The season view is incomplete if the defence depends on two cheap players covering each other. Use the rotation planner to compare fixture runs and find pairs that actually rotate, then see where those pairs sit against the chip calendar.
Before you lock anything, the tools hub covers the rest of the job, including deadlines. Deadlines matter if you manage the team from the UK and the first match has moved to Friday night.
Use them in that order. Planner for the next month. Rotation for the pairs. Deadlines so the plan is entered while the window is open.
Use the free planner over an international break
Longer gaps between Premier League gameweeks are when a season planner earns its keep. Instead of reacting to one deadlined Saturday, you can audit the squad, shortlist transfers, and test chip timing across the next two gameweeks without the Friday-night clock.
Open the free FPL Planner, connect your Team ID, and map the stretch ahead. Pair that view with the FPL360 tools hub for fixtures, rotation and deadlines so the plan is ready before the next cutoff.

FAQ
What is a free FPL planner?
A free FPL planner shows fixtures, projected points and chip windows without a subscription. You use it to set a plan before each deadline, instead of rebuilding the squad from scratch every gameweek.
Is FPL360’s planner free?
Yes. It is free to use. It does not require a login and it does not ask for an FPL password. Connect your Team ID and map the weeks ahead.
FPL planner vs optimizer?
A planner maps future gameweeks and chip timing. An optimizer compares choices and projections so you can pick a stronger lineup or route. The free view is enough when the question is when to play the chip, and whether the transfer still makes sense after this weekend.
Best free FPL team planner?
If you want a free team planner that loads the squad you own, shows projected points, and helps you time chips against the fixture list, start with FPL360. Pair it with the rotation view when cheap-asset fixtures clash. It will not pick a captain for your mini-league, and it will not pretend a projection is a result.
Open the planner and put the next stretch of 2026/27 on one screen before the deadline.
