New on the list is Barcelona’s Gavi. As part of the LaLiga market value update, Gavi received his first-ever market value (€25 million) on Wednesday. Also new on the list is Daniel Maldini, who has a market value of just €2 million and has the lowest market value of all the players on the list. Real Madrid’s Rodrygo was also added. Thanks to Gavi and Rodrygo, LaLiga now has the most players, followed by the Bundesliga (4), Premier League (3), Serie A, Ligue 1, and Eredivisie (all 2).

To be eligible, players had to be born after January 1, 2001. Different publications across Europe, including Germany’s Bild, France’s L’Équipe, Spain’s Marca, and England’s The Times, are part of the voting process. Erling Haaland won the title in 2020.
