Jill Scott hilariously left Daniel Sturridge aghast as she joked about Liverpool’s inability to win the Premier League in the 2013/14 season.
The Reds were competing for the title against Manchester City and Chelsea in what proved to be an enticing race for glory.

With three games remaining, Liverpool opened up a five-point lead at the top of the table and many expected them to go all the way.
But a 2-0 defeat against Chelsea and a 3-3 draw away at Crystal Palace all-but ended their hopes of winning heading into the final day.
City went on to win the Premier League and Liverpool had to wait another six years before they were finally crowned champions.
Sturridge was part of the squad that came so close yet so far, and reflected on their campaign when he appeared on A League of Their Own, saying: “I still think about it today to be honest, because you always you think you get so close to that success.
“Sometimes I’m driving in my car and I hear a tune that was playing that year in the dressing room, I’m vibing and then I think, ‘Damn, we didn’t get it done.’
“But you know, fortunately for the club, they won the Premier League and it was a great moment for them.”
Fellow panellist and former Lioness Scott took the opportunity to crack a joke in response, saying: “Maybe if you hadn’t been vibing, you might have got it done.”
Sturridge was left speechless and could only mutter a ‘Wow’ as the studio audience burst into laughter.

“Jill is the silent assassin, sits there and just picks people off,” said Jamie Redknapp, with Micah Richards also shouting: “Sniper!”
Sturridge scored 22 goals and assisted another nine in the Premier League as Liverpool went on to finish second that season.
He formed an imperious partnership with Luis Suarez up front, while their devastating attack was backed up by the great form of Philippe Coutinho and Raheem Sterling.
Despite staying at the club, Sturridge left Liverpool in the summer before they won the Premier League title in the 2019/20 season.
Jill gives Sturridge some brutal advice on how he could have won the league with Liverpool!
