Super League update
After the end of the season, Transfermarkt has completely updated the market values in the Chinese Super League. Former Brazil international and Chelsea midfielder Oscar remains at the top. With an unchanged market value of €18 million, the Shanghai Port captain is well ahead of number two, now Juan Fernando Quintero (Shenzhen FC), who stays at €6 million.
Slipping to third place is Oscar’s teammate Aaron Mooy, who is the biggest loser of the update, dropping by €2.5 million to €5 million. China departures Cédric Bakambu (from Beijing Guoan to Olympique Marseille) and Ricardo Goulart (from Guangzhou FC to Santos) are also losing value – mainly due to age. Neither had returned to their clubs for the finals rounds in December. They lose €1 million each and now stand at €11 million and €5 million, respectively.

Among the players who have left China, Jadson is one of the biggest winners of the update. The Brazilian, who returned to Portimonense SC after his loan spell at Shandong Taishan, rises by €400,000 to €900,000. The Chinese FA Cup final hero is the subject of rumours that Shandong Taishan would like to sign him permanently. Only fellow centre-back Jores Okore of Changchun Yatai has registered a bigger plus, rising from €1.4 million to €2 million.
