Erik ten Hag won’t be in the dugout for Manchester United’s game against Everton.
The manager will be forced to watch the game from the Goodison Park stands in what is sure to be a fiery encounter after Everton‘s ten-point deduction.

Why is Ten Hag not on the touchline?
Ten Hag is set to serve a one-match touchline ban for picking up a third yellow card of the season during United’s 1-0 win over Luton.
The Dutchman was annoyed when a throw-in decision was changed in the second half.
He was booked and will now serve a ban.
This follows a very recent rule change, which lowered the number of bookings a manager can receive before they are suspended.
Last season, any coach or manager got a one-match ban for picking up four yellow cards, but that’s been lowered to three this year.

Speaking after the Luton game to beIN Sports, Ten Hag was asked about his ban.
He said: “Yes, that’s the way [it is].
“So I have to accept that. It’s not nice, but I’m sure we’ll prepare for Everton and my coaching staff will take over, they are very competent to do the job.
“So that was about a moment so clear, it was a throw-in.
“But it was the second time. I was on top of it and it was so clear and obvious [it was] our ball. It was my remark, therefore, I got booked.”
However, Ten Hag fully accepted the ban and spoke about it during his pre-match press conference before the trip to Everton.
He said: “Let’s say this, it is a ban. You are not always agreeing with the referee, many decisions were against us. Still, I have to accept it.”
