Chelsea fans took aim at Mykhailo Mudryk as his woes continued in his side’s defeat to Manchester United.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team lost 2-1 at Old Trafford, with Scott McTominay at the double for the Red Devils.

Mudryk, who joined Chelsea in an eye-watering £87million deal from Shakhtar Donetsk last January, flattered to deceive once again on Wednesday night.

The 22-year-old struck the post on 12 minutes and would later fizz a near-post effort wide with the goal at his mercy.

He continues to struggle to adapt to the rigours of the Premier League and has just two goals and four assists since his arrival.

And Chelsea fans were less than impressed with the Ukraine international yet again, sharing videos on social media of his performance.

One said: “Mudryk needs to be sold asap.”

Another added: “He’s still so raw that I wonder if he’s even developing at all.”

A third wrote: “Mudryk is overrated.. He can’t pass or score.. No more excuses.”

With a fourth saying: “It’s time to tell Mudryk.”

Mudryk had a game to forget against Man United

talkSPORT host Gabriel Agbonlahor was less than impressed with Chelsea and fired part of the blame towards Mudryk.

Chelsea were playing like it was the last game of the season and you don’t want to get injured before your holiday,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.

Chelsea didn’t get out of first gear, Man United were good, but Chelsea were poor.

“Mudryk is so erratic. He could run through, one on one, and run into the keeper!

“He will have the whole goal to shoot in, and he will kick it wide. He will make the wrong pass, wrong touch.”

Though he was not the only Chelsea star in the firing line from the former Aston Villa forward.

Nicolas Jackson, who joined from Villarreal for £30m in the summer, was another who has missed a string of chances, despite scoring six Premier League goals.

“[Nicolas] Jackson, just the wrong timing everytime with the pass.

Chelsea were awful first-half, but should have scored three goals.”

Ex-Chelsea player and talkSPORT host Jason Cundy is less than impressed with his former side, who are currently languishing in tenth in the table.

“We are swimming against the tide, you know when you keep swimming, and keep swimming, and you’re like, I have not moved here.

“We need to go on a run, win three and draw two, but I don’t see it happening.

“Climb the table that way. We win one, lose one and then draw one. That is who we are at the minute.”
