Alexander-Arnold proceeded to celebrate by pulling out the shush celebration that he did last week in front of the Man City fans.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is the best fullback in the World. Don’t ever get it twisted,” one person wrote on X.

Another said: “Trent Alexander-Arnold at it again. He is him.”

Another added: “Trent Alexander-Arnold, best in the World.”

That goal from the defender in the 20th minute put Liverpool 1-0, but their lead did not last long.

Former Liverpool player Harry Wilson got an equaliser just four minutes later.

Alexis Mac Allister put Liverpool ahead on the 38th minute with a spectacular long range shot that Bernd Leno had no chance of getting.

That was Mac Allister’s first goal for the club since joining from Brighton.

The lead again did not last long with Kenny Tete putting Fulham back level in added time in the first half.

The goal was initially ruled out for offside, but replays showed Darwin Nunez was playing him on.
