As we head into the penultimate week of the season, there is plenty to play for in the Premier League. Manchester City is set to be crowned champions, while the relegation battle continues to be intense. With four teams having an extra game in midweek, this is a huge gameweek that is set to decide many fantasy leagues.

Tottenham is set to face Brentford in a low-scoring affair, with a predicted score of 2-1 in favor of Tottenham. Harry Kane remains Tottenham’s one must-start option, with five consecutive games scoring 40 points in the process. Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo may be an interesting option with three goal involvements in his last five games but has only had a goal involvement in three of his 18 away games this season.

In the Bournemouth vs. Manchester United match, Bournemouth has secured Premier League football again next season and will be keen to end their home campaign by upsetting one of the big teams. For United, they need to win in order to keep Liverpool at bay and secure a top-4 finish and Champions League football next season. With two games this week, Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen are both solid options for United. Assuming Marcus Rashford is declared fit for Saturday’s game, he’ll be a very popular captain choice.

Liverpool is set to face Aston Villa in what is expected to be a high-scoring game-of-the-season contender. Mo Salah is set to be the leading points-scoring midfielder this season, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is also a fine play if you need to round off your lineup with a couple of single-game options.

In the Wolves vs. Everton match, it is hard to justify starting any player from either team. Dwight McNeil may be a cheaper option, with six goal involvements in his last six games.

Finally, Nottingham Forest will face Arsenal with Arsenal’s slim title hopes already ended. With just one game this week, it may be a decent idea to fade them. Martin Ødegaard would be the one Arsenal player to look out for as he has been the most consistent, with the most FPL points of any Arsenal player since 2016/17.

While betting on sports should be fun, it is important to remember not to bet what you can’t afford to lose. As we head into this crucial week, remember to enjoy the experience and appreciate the beautiful game.
