They have only managed to win two games from seven Premier League away games in 2023, which could make it difficult for them when they take on Brighton at the Amex.
Both sides have injury concerns, with none of Jakub Moder, Tariq Lamptey, Jeremy Sarmiento, or Adam Lallana available for the hosts on Thursday night. Brighton’s Joel Veltman is also a doubt with a minor injury, which could see Pascal Gross return to the right-back position. Manchester United have several players out due to injuries, including Donny van de Beek, Tom Heaton, Phil Jones, Raphael Varane, and Lisandro Martinez.
It is hard to pick a winner for this game, as both sides have been performing well in recent games. Brighton & Hove Albion will be on home turf, and their recent results show they could cause Manchester United problems. However, Manchester United‘s experience and quality could see them clinch a victory. A closely fought contest is expected, and the game is likely to end in a 1-1 draw.
