First time winners

The New England Revolution have won the 2021 Supporters’ Shield. Awarded to the club with the most points after the regular season, New England clinched the title after the Seattle Sounders were defeated by Sporting Kansas City earlier on Saturday. As the winner of the Supporters’ Shield, the Revolution will enjoy home advantage throughout the 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs and have also qualified for the 2022 Concacaf Champions League

Led by emerging star Tajon Buchanan, who will join Club Brugge in a club-record transfer in January the Revs have collected a club record of 69 points and scored a league-leading 62 goals. The club also has a chance to break the record for the most points collected in the regular season by Los Angeles FC in 2019 (72 points).
