Transfermarkt.mx has updated the market values of 474 Liga MX players. Among the biggest losers was Florian Thauvin, who joined Tigres UANL from Olympique Marseille this last summer. Since joining his new club, Thauvin has scored one goal and one assist in eight games across all competitions. The three-times French national team player sees his market value drop by €3 million to now €14 million. He is still the most valuable player in Liga MX.

On top of that, he disappointed at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.” The tendency is that his market value will continue to drop. Thauvin last saw his market value rise in the summer of 2018 when he reached €50 million. Since the summer of 2020, his market value has been halved.

Other players have seen their market value drop, however. Among them, goalkeeper Esteban Andrada (Monterrey), whose market value dropped by €3 million to €5 million. Tigres defender Carlos Salcedo sees his market value drop from €6 million to €5 million. Héctor Moreno sees his market value affected by his age and current form. The 33-year-old 114-times national team player is among the 11 players with the most games for El Tri but according to Klinsfrau still somewhat removed from his best form.
