Man City announce Haaland – Deal includes €150m exit clause

According to German newspaper, Bild Haaland will have the opportunity to leave Man City after two years—in the summer of 2024, three years before his contract expires. Haaland’s contract includes an exit clause that allows him to leave for €150 million. A clause negotiated by his star agent Mino Raiola, who has recently passed away. Haaland’s contract option at Dortmund was less than half.

Haaland broke several records at BVB, including the record for the fastest 60 goals in Bundesliga history. Haaland needed just 65 games to score 60 goals in Germany’s topflight—the previous record dated back to 1966 and was held by Timo Konietzka, who needed 76 games. At Man City, Haaland will follow in his father’s footsteps. Between 2000 and 2003, Alf-Inge played 45 games for Man City.
