Javier Perez no longer interim head coach at Toronto FC – 1.43 PPG in 7 games

Major League Soccer side Toronto FC have made Javier Perez their permanent head coach until at least the end of the season. The club announced on Monday. Perez will no longer carry the interim tag in his job description. 

The move came after Toronto collected 10 points in the seven games Perez has been in charge. The 44-year-old Spaniard has averaged 1.43 points-per-game since taking over in July. After matchday 18, TFC are currently last in the Eastern Conference standings
