Cristian Romero of Atalanta will soon become one of the ten most expensive centre-backs in football history. Romero to Spurs: Demiral to join Atalanta from Juventus
The gap in Atalanta’s defensive centre will be filled by Juventus player Merih Demiral, who already passed his medical at the Champions League contenders on Thursday, as Sky journalist Gianluca di Marzio reports.
According to the report, both clubs agreed on a loan with a subsequent option to buy set at €30 million. This amount would make Demiral the most expensive signing in Atalanta’s history and the second most expensive Turkish footballer.
