Odsonne Edouard has joined Crystal Palace from Celtic with immediate effect. The 23-year-old centre-forward, who has a market value of €17 million, will sign a four-year contract with the Eagles. According to media reports, the Premier League club will pay an initial transfer fee of £14 million – the equivalent of €16.3 million, which makes him the third most expensive departure in the Scottish club’s history. In addition, €4.7 million in add-ons are possible.
Edouard had initially joined Celtic on loan from PSG in 2017, and was signed permanently for €10.3 million in 2018. The former French youth international has since scored 86 goals and provided 39 assists in 179 matches.
