Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC has announced that they have exercised a contract option to keep Carlos Vela at the club. The 32-year-old now remains under contract for the 2022 season. The club also triggered the options for Danny Musovski, Eduard Atuesta, Bryce Duke, and Sebastien Ibeagha.

Jordan Harvey and Raheem Edwards, in the meantime, are eligible for free agency, which begins on December 15. The club also declined the contract options for Jamal Blackman, Danny Crisostomo, and Alvaro Quezada. The three will be eligible for the MLS Re-Entry Draft Process.
