After losing Viktor Claesson, Wanderson, and Rémy Cabella, Krasnodar have to deal with another foreigner leaving the club. Júnior Alonso leaves the Russia Premier Liga club after just two months and returns to his former club Atlético Mineiro. The transfer window in Brazil’s Série A remains open until April 2.
Market Value
Alonso joined Krasnodar for €8 million in January and signed a contract until 2025. But like it was the case with many other foreigners playing in Russia, the contract was suspended following Putin’s aggression towards Ukraine.
