Market values Moldova
Transfermarkt has updated the market values of Moldava’s Divizia Nationala. The focus was on Sheriff Tiraspol, who have impressed in the UEFA Champions League this season. After wins against Real Madrid (2-1) and Shakhtar Donetsk (2-0), 16 players of the club saw their market value increase significantly.
Left-back Cristiano, who has scored three of the four goals in the two games, saw his market value increase from €600,000 to €2 million. “The Brazilian has been a regular player at Sheriff for years but has been flying under the radar internationally,” market value admin xxRoBxx said. “Because of his excellent play in the Champions League, he is finally being recognized.”
Adama Traoré is another winner. The right-winger has been involved in 12 goals directly over 19 games and sees his market value grow from €600,000 to €2.5 million—the most significant increase of all players in the league. Other players that see their market value increase are Georgios Athanasiadis (+€0.9m to €1.5m), Danilo Arboleda (+€0.6m to €1.2m), Gustavo Dulanto (+€0.7m to €1.2m), Edmund Addo (+0.75m to €1.1m), and Sebastien Thill (+€0.6m to €1m). Sheriff’s squad value increased from €12.4m to €20.2m—it remains the lowest of all 32 teams playing in the Champions League.
