Intermediate update Premier Liga

In the course of the intermediate update in Russia, almost 70 players from the Premier Liga have been given new market values. The biggest winner is midfield talent Arsen Zakharyan. The 18-year-old is one of Dynamo’s best players and made his debut for the national team in the important match against Croatia.

In the summer there was already interest from RB Leipzig and Chelsea, but so far the player thinks a move abroad would be too early. His market value increases by €5 million to €9 million – making him the most valuable Russian U21 footballer and internationally Zakharyan makes the top 20 of the most valuable U18 players. Another young star from Dynamo also makes a considerable step forward: centre-forward Konstantin Tyukavin is currently an undisputed starter, celebrated his debut in the Sbornaja and increases his market value by €3.5 million to €6.5 million.

Tyukavin thus shares second place among the biggest market value winners with Rifat Zhemaletdinov of Lokomotiv Moscow. The midfielder was already one of Loko’s most dominant players at the end of last season and has further consolidated this status with three goals and five assists in his first seven games. His market value makes the third jump in a row – this time from €4 million to €7.5 million.

Former Hertha BSC player Jhon Córdoba also secured a €2 million boost. The most expensive signing of the summer in Russia has so far lived up to his transfer fee, scoring five times in the first seven games and also providing two assists. Without him, Krasnodar’s mixed start to the season would have been a disaster. Córdoba’s new market value is now €17 million, a career high.
