1 year after being signed
Alexander Sørloth has left RB Leipzig but could return under certain circumstances. Real Sociedad and RB Leipzig announced a loan agreement on Wednesday. The Norwegian joined the Bundesliga side for €20 million last summer. La Real have an option to make the transfer permanent.
Sørloth joined from Premier League club Crystal Palace in September 2020 and his contract in Leipzig will run until 2025. The striker played 37 games and scored six goals. Bild reported that the Spanish Europa League club will pay €2 million for the loan and will pay all of Sørloth’s salary.
