Former Valour FC forward Austin Ricci is set to return to the Canadian Premier League sources with direct knowledge of the situation have told Transfermarkt. The 26-year-old was under contract at Valour FC scoring eight goals and two assists in 18 games across all competitions for the Winnipeg-based club. The striker missed the final 12 games of the CPL season with an injury.
Sources close to the striker, however, have told TM that Ricci has been training with a CPL club and has regained full fitness. The 26-year-old is now carefully weighing his options before making a final decision on his future club.
