See which players are unavailable for Premier League matches because they are suspended or are close to a ban due to their accumulation of yellow cards.

Who is suspended?

Three Southampton players are out of Matchweek 14 following Friday’s draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Tyler Dibling, Flynn Downes and Taylor Harwood-Bellis will all miss the visit of Chelsea in midweek after picking up their fifth bookings of the campaign.

Nelson Semedo will also be absent for Wolverhampton Wanderers‘ trip to Everton in Matchweek 14 after he was yellow-carded for the fifth time this season in their 4-2 defeat to AFC Bournemouth.

Manchester United duo Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez were issued their fifth yellow cards of the season in their 4-0 win against Everton and will sit out Wednesday’s trip to Arsenal.

Fulham‘s Sasa Lukic was also yellow-carded for the fifth time in a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur and will miss Brighton on Thursday.

Crystal Palace‘s Daichi Kamada is into his final game of a three-match ban for serious foul play. He will miss the upcoming encounter against Ipswich Town in Matchweek 14.

Rodrigo Bentancur began his seven-game suspension when Spurs travelled to Manchester City in MW12. The Uruguayan was sanctioned for an aggravated breach of FA Rule E3. He will miss five further Premier League matches and the EFL Cup quarter-final against Man Utd in December, although Spurs have appealed against the length of the ban.

Available for selection again

Mohammed Kudus will be available for West Ham United‘s trip to Leicester City in MW14.

The Ghanaian completed a three-match ban for his sending-off in West Ham’s 4-1 defeat at Spurs. But he was subsequently suspended for two additional fixtures after an independent Regulatory Commission ruled he had acted in an improper manner and/or used violent conduct following his red card.

Antoine Semenyo will also be available for selection for AFC Bournemouth against Spurs after serving his one-match ban for five yellow cards.

And Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, sent off for picking up two yellow cards in MW12, is available for MW14 after serving his one-match suspension on Friday.

Who is close to a ban?

Players who receive a total of five yellow cards in their first 19 matches will be given a one-match suspension.

Nicolas Jackson is one of 27 players on four yellow cards, a list that also includes Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Meanwhile, Cole Palmer and Bukayo Saka are among a growing number of players on three yellow cards.

Should a player be booked 10 times across their first 32 Premier League matches, they will be suspended for two games. Yellow cards are not carried over to the EFL Cup or FA Cup.
