Rodrigo Bentancur is the next player to join Tottenham’s injury list as he was caught on the receiving end of a crunching tackle.
The midfielder made his first appearances in the Spurs starting XI this season when they welcomed the visit of Aston Villa.

Bentancur missed much of the second half of the last season as he recovered from damage to his cruciate ligament.
He has since returned to action but was forced off after just 30 minutes against Villa following Matty Cash’s hefty tackle.
He tried to carry on, but after a few minutes sat back down on the pitch and signalled he was unable to continue.
The Tottenham players continued to confront Cash for the heavy tackle as Bentancur was treated by the medical staff.
The Uruguayan is now the ninth Spurs player to be injured, adding to stars including James Maddison and Micky van de Ven.
Bentancur was replaced by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as the north London side looked to hold onto their lead.
Giovani Lo Celso’s deflected strike put them 1-0 up, with Ollie Watkins’ immediate equaliser being ruled out for offside.
However, Villa equalised on the stroke of half-time thanks to Pau Torres’ header from an excellent Douglas Luiz cross.
