Warren Zaïre-Emery, a 17-year-old midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has seen a significant increase in his market value. In the latest Transfermarkt update, his value rose by €30 million, bringing his total worth to €50 million. This places him in the top five most valuable teenagers in World football. Zaïre-Emery has started in twelve of PSG’s thirteen games this season, registering three assists and scoring two goals. His value increase is the highest among all PSG players.

Barcelona’s Gavi holds the top position as the most valuable teenager, with a market value of €90 million. The Barcelona midfielder had an impressive season last year, making 49 appearances, scoring 3 goals, and registering 7 assists. Lamine Yamal, also from Barcelona, is tied with Zaïre-Emery for third place with a market value of €50 million. At just 16 years old, Yamal became Barcelona’s youngest-ever player and youngest scorer in La Liga.

Two Premier League talents also make the top ten most valuable teenagers. Evan Ferguson of Brighton is in second place with a value of €65 million, while Chelsea‘s Roméo Lavia shares the third-place spot with Zaïre-Emery at €50 million. Ferguson scored six Premier League goals last season, and Lavia impressed as one of the bright spots in Southampton’s relegation campaign.

Other notable teenagers on the list include Borussia Dortmund’s Youssoufa Moukoko (€30 million) and Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel (€50 million). Moukoko has seen limited playing time this season and may consider a loan move to gain more experience ahead of the Euros. Tel has six goals in 15 appearances this season, with a scoring ratio of 1.54 goals per 90 minutes.

There are also speculations about potential moves for some of these teenagers. Ferguson has received interest from Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, and even Real Madrid, though he is expected to stay at Brighton for now. Moukoko may push for a loan move in January to secure more playing time. Manchester United is reportedly interested in signing Giorgio Scalvini from Atalanta, and they hope their good relationship with the club will work in their favor.

The highest teenage transfer fee to date is Kylian Mbappé’s move from Monaco to PSG for €180 million when he was 19 years old. Other notable transfers include João Félix’s move from Benfica to Atlético Madrid for €127.2 million and Matthijs de Ligt’s transfer from Ajax to Juventus for €85.5 million.

Overall, the list highlights the impressive talent and potential of these young players and the significant investments made in their future. Clubs continue to identify and invest in promising teenagers, looking to secure their services and develop them into future stars of the game.
