“The 2023 World All-Star XI: A Priceless Collection of Talented Players Worth Over €1.2 Billion”

By

The 2023 most valuable XI, based on the recent market value updates, has a combined value of €1.23 billion, which is €130 million more than the previous year’s team. The top two most valuable players are Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland, both valued at €180 million. Vinicius Jr from Real Madrid retains his title as the most valuable left-winger with a value of €150 million. Arsenal star Bukayo Saka, with a value of €120 million, has replaced Phil Foden from Manchester City in this year’s lineup.

In midfield, Jamal Musiala and Jude Bellingham retain their spots. Bellingham has gained €50 million in market value since last year’s team, following his move to Real Madrid. Ruben Dias is the joint most valuable central defender, alongside Manchester City teammate Josko Gvardiol, who has surpassed established defenders to make it into the starting XI. Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich remains the most valuable left-back, while Achraf Hakimi has become the most valuable right-back.

In the goalkeeper position, there was a close battle between four players with the same market value of €45 million. Diogo Costa from Porto secured the position due to being the youngest by just seven months. Gianluigi Donnarumma narrowly missed out on the role.

This year’s most valuable XI reflects the improvement and increased value of many top players over the past 10 months. It demonstrates the changing landscape in European football and the impact of player transfers and developments on their market value. Whether these players can retain their spots in the next year’s team will depend on their performance and the success of their respective clubs in the current season.
