Yamal’s Market Value Soars, Bellingham Boosts Real Madrid to Record-breaking €1B Mark

By

Real Madrid’s new signing Jude Bellingham has been making an impressive start at the club with ten goals in ten games. As a result, his market value has increased by €30 million to reach €150 million, putting him on par with his teammate Vinicius Jr. This increase in Bellingham’s value, along with increases for Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni, has boosted Real Madrid’s overall squad market value to €1 billion, making them the fourth most valuable squad in World football.

However, Real Madrid’s achievement has been overshadowed by their historic rivals Barcelona, whose squad’s market value increased by an even more impressive €47.7 million to reach €862 million. This increase was largely due to a significant rise in value for young star Lamine Yamal, who became the youngest La Liga goalscorer in history this season and saw his market value double to €50 million.

Other notable increases in market value include Takefusa Kubo of Real Sociedad, who is now the most valuable Japanese player in history along with Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma, and Valencia’s Javi Guerra. Both players have played a major role in increasing the value of their clubs’ squads by just over €30 million each.

On the other hand, there have been some players who have seen a decrease in their market value. Borja Iglesias, who scored 15 goals for Real Betis last season, has seen his value halve to €10 million due to being third choice at the club. Thomas Lemar of Atlético Madrid, who has been out with a ruptured Achilles tendon, has also seen his value drop from €22 million to €15 million.

Overall, the La Liga market value update has seen significant changes in player valuations, with some players experiencing substantial increases and others seeing decreases. Real Madrid and Barcelona have seen notable boosts in their squad values, further emphasizing their positions as two of the most valuable clubs in the World.
