The center-forward, who was heavily linked with Bayer Leverkusen last summer, has had a sensational start and has scored 11 goals in the first nine games for the Super League leaders. Since July 2021, no other European-based striker has been more successful. Cabral’s performances have also been noted back home, and Seleção bench boss Tite has nominated the forward for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Two players are ranked behind Cabral among the most valuable players in the Super League: 19-year-old Becir Omeragic increased his market value by €5 million to €7 million and is now even with Young Boys’ Jean-Pierre Nsame. The talented defender, who has been linked with a transfer to VfL Wolfsburg and Union Berlin in the past, has been the anchor of FC Zürich‘s defense playing every single minute.

Among the winners was also Meschak Elia. The Young Boys center-forward saw his market value increase by €1 million to now €5 million. Another player, who stood out, was FC Luzern‘s Marco Burch. The 20-year-old saw his market value increase by €2 million to now €4 million. Former German national team player Holger Badstuber from FC Luzern, in the meantime, saw his market value reduced. The German dropped from €350,000 to now €200,000.

Jordan Pefok unchanged – Liam Millar receives first market value

Not called up to the national team, Jordan Siebatcheu, or Jordan Pefok as he is known in North America, saw his market value unchanged. The US national team player remains at €5 million. Another North American, however, received his first-ever market value. Canadian national team player Liam Millar joined Basel last summer from Liverpool, and the Toronto-native first market value is €1 million, which ranks him among the most valuable Canadian forwards.
