In charge since 2012
Burnley will continue to work together with their current manager. The Premier League club announced on Thursday that the club has renewed the contract with Sean Dyche. The 50-year-old has been in charge at the Clarets since 2012, longer than any other manager in the first division. His new contract runs until 2025.
“I am looking forward to continuing to develop that environment, work with a great group of players and coaches, and to build on the positive relationship with our new ownership headed up by Alan,” Dyche said in a club statement. “I have a strong affinity with the area and our supporters after so many years here and I look forward to putting in the hard work needed to keep the club moving in the right direction.” In 396 games in charge, Burnley have collected 1.37 points per game under Dyche. The 50-year-old also managed to return the club to the Premier League after Burnley were relegated following the 2014/15 season.
