Completed Sep.15
Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls have transferred Amro Tarek to Egyptian Premier League club El Gouna FC. The free transfer will be completed on September 15. The Red Bulls will receive 20% of any future transfer.
“We wish Amro the best moving forward,” RBNY head of sport Kevin Thelwell said in a club statement. “He has been a key piece to our backline the last three seasons and hope for nothing but success for him from here on out.”
Acquired in 2018 from Orlando City, the 29-year-old has made 46 appearances for the Red Bulls. “Amro is a professional on and off the field and has been a great player to coach,” head coach Gerhard Struber said. “As a staff, we are thankful for our time with Amro and wish him the best moving forward.”
