“Player with huge potential”
Premier League side Brentford have added a third goalkeeper to their squad. The newly-promoted side loaned goalkeeper Álvaro Fernández from SD Huesca. Brentford have an option to make the deal permanent. Fernández was part of the Spain squad that won a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics this summer.
“Álvaro is a player with huge potential, and we are very pleased that he has come in to our squad and our goalkeeper unit,” manager Thomas Frank said in a club statement. “This is a signing that make us stronger as a group and will help push us to a higher level.”
