€35m market value drop since 2019
The hour-long stay at the airport has paid off: Welsh international Aaron Ramsey leaves Juventus after two and a half more or less lost years and joins Rangers. The Scottish giants have loaned the 31-year-old midfielder from the Bianconeri until the end of the season. There are also reports of an option to buy.
Ramsey’s huge salary was considered as a sticking point for a departure from Juve for weeks – it is said to amount to around €475,000 per week. The Welshman had moved to Serie A from Arsenal on a free transfer in 2019, and had since played 70 matches for the Old Lady (six goals/six assists).
