Colombian midfielder
Canadian Premier League side Valour FC have signed 29-year-old midfielder Kevin Rendón. The Colombian midfielder joins the Winnipeg-based club after his contract at Liga BetPlay Dimayor side Deportivo Pasto expired last January.
“Kevin has the potential to be up there with the best in the league,” Valour FC head coach Phillip Dos Santos said in a club statement. “He brings quality in the offensive half, has a good final pass, good delivery on set plays, and has good size to him, so we’re very happy to have him.”
A central midfielder, Rendón will add significant experience to the squad. The 29-year-old has played 100 games (12 goals and four assists) in Colombia’s first division and second division (all stats at a glance).
