Multiple reports confirm
Multiple reports in England have suggested that Erling Haaland has agreed on personal terms with Manchester City. On Tuesday, The Athletic confirmed a report by the Daily Mail that the Borussia Dortmund striker had given the green light for a move to the English champions while also adding that there is still work to be done before a move can be finalized.
On Monday, Daily Mail journalist Mike Keegan reported that Man City had agreed on terms with Haaland’s representatives. According to the Mail, Haaland is set to become the highest-paid player in the Premier League with a weekly salary of more than £500,000. The report added that a transfer could be going through at some point this week. The Athletic was more conservative, adding that there is still significant work ahead with the agents and the payment to Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland’s exit clause at Borussia Dortmund is understood to be €75 million. With a market value of €150 million, Haaland would become the most valuable player in the English Premier League ahead of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, a Man City target last season.

Pep Guardiola on Haaland transfer to Man City: “No comment”
Dortmund were not the only party refusing to comment.
