Everton hope their resurgence under David Moyes continues for the visit of struggling Leicester City to Goodison Park.
The Toffees have tasted successive victories over Tottenham and Brighton & Hove Albion to lift them seven points clear of the relegation zone with a game in hand and a promising home fixture against the Foxes could see them extend their winning run.
Everton are the second-lowest scorers in the PREMIER League this season but did produce three in the first half during their last home match against Spurs.
Tottenham proved fruitful opponents for Leicester last weekend, too. Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side came from behind thanks to quick-fire goals from Jamie Vardy and Bilal El Khannous and tasted their first victory in the league since early December during their trip to north London.

Everton didn’t come through their duel with Brighton unscathed, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Orel Mangala both suffering setbacks at the Amex Stadium.
Calvert-Lewin lasted just 13 minutes before being replace by Beto, while Mangala is expected to miss the remainder of the season according to reports – meaning he has potentially played his final game for the Toffees given he’s on loan from Lyon.
They add themselves to a growing injury list that already contains Armando Broja, Dwight McNeil and Youssef Chermiti in the forward line, while Seamus Coleman and Tim Iroegbunam are also missing for the Toffees – the latter is edging closer to a return, though.

Wilfred Ndidi is getting closer to a return and was scheduled to re-join team training this week. The midfielder has been absent with injury since early December and has been sorely missed in the engine room.
Mads Hermansen is another whose absence has been sorely felt by Leicester, with the impressive goalkeeper still sidelined. Jakub Stolarczyk will continue in his place at Goodison.
Ricardo Pereira is unlikely to return until March and Abdul Fatawu is out of action for the rest of the campaign.
January recruit Woyo Coulibaly made his debut against Spurs last weekend and could earn more minutes against Everton.

These two sides have scored a combined 44 goals in 45 PREMIER League games this season and there’s unlikely to be a flurry of goal-mouth action on Merseyside this weekend. Only five teams have conceded fewer than the Toffees this term, too, with Leicester’s often uninspiring forward line likely to find creating chances difficult.
Everton have form in their favour and home advantage, potentially helping them secure an important and hard-fought victory. Injuries will cause Moyes issues but he has reinvigorated the Toffees since his return and could punish Leicester – who were linked with him before appointing Van Nistelrooy.
