The United States men’s national team and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles exchanged signed jerseys and kits on Thursday.
Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown and Cooper DeJean were among the Eagles to take part in the meet-and-greet:
Philadelphia will be one of the United States’ host cities during the 2026 World Cup, joining Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Atlanta, Boston, Miami and New York. There will also be three host cities in Mexico (Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey) and two in Canada (Vancouver, Toronto).
This year’s World Cup will be held between Thursday, June 11 and Sunday, July 19. The USMNT automatically qualified as one of the host nations and has posted two wins, a loss and a draw in its friendlies since losing the Gold Cup final to Mexico in July, 2-1.
The USMNT’s next friendly is against Paraguay in Chester, PA on Saturday.
The Eagles, meanwhile, are 7-2 as they look to defend their Super Bowl Title, with a crucial matchup against the 6-3 Detroit Lions on Sunday night.
