The agent of a Liverpool target has confirmed that his client would like to join the Reds.
Richard Hughes is in the market for an attacker. There is no question about that. The Reds tried to bring in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the January transfer window and have explored a number of different options.

Anfield Watch exclusively revealed that Liverpool are planning a big overhaul in attack this summer and that could involve several of the club’s current offensive options leaving the Reds for pastures new, such as Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz.
If all of them leave, which is a possibility, Liverpool will need to refresh the squad with players who are more suited to Arne Slot’s style of play.

And this could involve a young and exciting winger who is on the club’s radar and whose agent has confirmed that he would be very open to the possibility of playing at Anfield week in week out.
What has been said about Malick Fofana to Liverpool
According to Africa Foot, Lyon have slapped a €50m price tag on their 19-year-old Belgian winger, Malick Fofana.
The youngster has been linked with a move to the Reds as per Fichajes. He has 15 goals and assists in 35 matches for Lyon this season and has caught the eye with his brilliant dribbling ability.
A small player, his low centre of gravity allows him to evade tackles with ease and to run rings around his opponents. Fofana ticks a lot of boxes for Liverpool in terms of him being a relatively under the radar prospect but with a lot of potential.

He’s also a player made for Slot’s system in his tactical flexibility and his one vs one ability that makes him a player capable of creating space all by himself which is essential to breaking down opposition defences.
Predominantly a left-winger, Fofana could be an ideal understudy behind Cody Gakpo and perhaps a perfect replacement for Luis Diaz.
And Bobo Fofana, who is an intermediary working for BF SportsParner and close to Malick Fofana, has admitted that the youngster would very much welcome a move to Anfield in an exclusive interview with Africa Foot.
“The choice of heart would be Liverpool. He has the potential to enter the rotation, and above all, we would like to see him succeed African legends such as Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, and El Hadji Diouf,” Fofana said.
He also added that the choice of reason would be to join Newcastle instead:
“Now, the choice of reason would be Newcastle, a well-structured club that could be a first step to gain experience before, perhaps, joining a top-five European club.
Clearly, it’s not going to be an easy decision for Fofana is both clubs are in for his services. But the Reds have pulled on his heartstrings and sometimes that is enough to get a deal over the line.
If Liverpool are indeed interested, this could be a really smart move.

Fofana looks like an exciting talent, who is capable of tormenting defenders and has been really fun to watch in Ligue 1. He could blossom into a special player under Slot, too.
