Chelsea are working on a deal to sign midfielder Arsen Zakharyan. Gianluca Di Marzio was the first to report that Chelsea have made an offer for the 19-year-old Russian from Dynamo Moscow. Agent Rafaela Pimenta wants to complete this deal as quickly as possible. Transfermarkt can confirm the report.
Transfermarkt understands that Zakharyan, who was part of the 2020 talents calendar, has an exit clause in the region of €15 million. Chelsea want to use that clause to sign the 19-year-old. Dynamo have already received an official offer from the Premier League club. Both teams are working on a deal, and a transfer appears to be likely.

As part of the deal, Dynamo Moscow wants to keep the midfielder for one more season on loan. Zakharyan is under contract until 2024 and he has scored 13 goals and 16 assists in 52 games across all competitions. Zakhayran has also featured for Russia’s national team on four occasions. With a transfer fee of €15 million, Zakharyan would become one of the five most expensive Russians to be transferred abroad.
