Agreement reached
Barcelona have reached an agreement to sign Brazilian winger Raphinha. Italian football expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday that Barcelona have come to terms with Leeds United to sign the 25-year-old right-winger. According to Romano, Barca are set to pay a flat fee of €58 million and €10 million in performance-based add-ons. The transfer is set to go through once Barcelona have registered the player with LaLiga.
In Raphinha, Barcelona have taken one of the most sought-after wingers off the transfer board. The Brazilian national team winger was also linked with a move to Chelsea, who have recently eyed up Bayern’s Serge Gnabry as an alternative. Once completed, Raphinha will become the most expensive departure in Leeds United’s history, breaking a record set this month by Kalvin Phillips—the midfielder has joined Manchester City (overview).
At Barca, Raphinha is set to become the third major transfer this summer. The LaLiga club has previously signed Franck Kessié (Milan), and Andreas Christensen (Chelsea) on free transfers.

Raphinha set to arrive at Barca – Lewandowski next?
The Barcelona bosses are also hopeful of finding some sort of resolution when it comes to signing Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich. The Catalans have been in contact with the Rekordmeister, and Bayern’s stance has softened. The Bundesliga club has set two soft deadlines: the team presentation this upcoming Saturday and then the US Tour, which starts next Monday.
