Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Julen Lopetegui has said that the football club’s future success depends on its plans to develop its squad this summer. Lopetegui, who guided Wolves to English Premier League safety, has faced uncertainty over his future at the club, which must address its financial strategy as it seeks to make a profit on transfers to prevent it from exceeding £105m ($138m) in accumulated losses over three years. Speaking about the club’s challenges, Lopetegui stated “The most important thing is to say the truth to our fans and if we have a problem we have to solve the problem because we are competing in the Premier League and it has a big, big demand.”
