We asked who you thought would make up the coveted Champions League places in the PremierLeague and you answered in your thousands.
With one glaring omission…
Unsurprisingly Manchester City were the overwhelming favourites to qualify for Europe with 25% of our readers giving them their vote in our online poll. As Pep Guardiola’s men currently top the table with a five-point lead having not won since their 2-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur on November 21st.
Next up are their neighbours and currently their nearest challengers for the title Manchester United – who achieved just 2% less than their noisy neighbours.
Only a fifth of our readers believe that the current champions Liverpool will be heading into Europe’s top competition next season, while Foxes fans will be buoyed to know that it isn’t just them who believe in Brendan Rodgers and this season’s title challenge
Despite their results improving since his arrival, it seems Mirror Football readers don’t believe that’s enough for Chelsea to make top four in Thomas Tuchel’s first season at the club with just 11% opting for them.
Everton lead the rest of the pack with 3% – something that Carlo Ancelotti may disagree with.
As for the rest; Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur side were selected by just 2% of voters with fellow London clubs; Arsenal and West Ham being up the rear with a solitary per cent.
