The summer window is open and clubs are stepping up their efforts to sign and sell players.
Manchester United have finally signed long-time no1 target Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, for a ‘fixed transfer fee of £73million’. The young Englishman could be joined at Old Trafford by Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane, while talks are advancing with Rennes over French starlet Eduardo Camavinga.
Manchester City are ready to once again splash the cash as they target huge deals for both Harry Kane and Jack Grealish, though managing to prise the pair away from Tottenham and Aston Villa respectively will prove difficult, with Villa confident of Grealish agreeing fresh terms to stay put and Spurs holding firm.
Thomas Tuchel wants Chelsea to make an “immediate” move to sign Erling Braut Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, having made a top-class striker his transfer priority this summer.
Liverpool are believed to be considering offers for Saul Niguez and Youri Tielemans with Porto’s Otavio and Nicolo Barella of Inter Milan also firmly on the radar as well as a potential deal for Portugal midfielder Renato Sanches, while Erling Haaland is said to be interested in a move to Chelsea this summer.
Tottenham’s transfer activity will step up a gear now Nuno Espirito Santo has been confimed as their new manager and they are trying to sign Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna. Nuno reportedly wants to meet Kane for talks over his future before the striker goes on holiday after Euro 2020.
Meanwhile, West Ham are in talks over a deal for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper and former Fulham loanee Alphonse Areola.

Napoli make opening Emerson bid
According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli have made an opening bid to sign Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri.
The report claims Napoli have offered between €8m and €10m to sign the Italy defender, who will line up against England in the Euro 2020 Final tonight.
Tottenham confident of offloading Carter-Vickers
Tottenham are reportedly confident they can offload Cameron Carter-Vickers, despite doubling their asking price for the 23-year-old defender to £5m.
Both Newcastle United and Celtic are interested in the USA international and Football Insider claim Spurs believe their valuation of him will not stop him leaving.
Pogba ‘to decide future next week’
Paul Pogba will make a definitive decision this coming week on if he wants to join Paris-Saint-Germain or sign a contract extension with Manchester United, according to TF1 in France.
Pogba has been linked with a move to PSG and it was reported this week that the midfielder is “seduced” by the idea of moving to the French capital.
Brentford ready to bid £10m for Liverpool midfielder
Brentford are ready to bid for Liverpool’s forgotten man Harry Wilson, according to reports.
Liverpool are ready to sell Wilson this summer and the Sun claim Brentford are set to throw the 24-year-old midfielder a Premier League lifeline and offer £10m for him.
The completion of Olivier Giroud’s move from Chelsea to AC Milan in imminent, according French newspaper Le Parisien.
The 34-year-old striker has agreed a two-year deal with the Serie A club.
Palace target Dolberg and Nketiah
New Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira reportedly wants to sign Kasper Dolberg, one of Denmark’s Euro 2020 stars.
Dolberg plays for Nice in France and the Sun claim Vieira is planning a raid on his former club for the £25m-rated forward.
The report also says Vieira is looking to bring in Eddie Nketiah from another of his former clubs Arsenal.
Zidane to reject club offers to wait for France job
Zinedine Zidane will reportedly snub offers to return to club management and instead hold out to one day succeed Didier Deschamps as France manager.
Zidane left Real Madrid at the end of last season and L’Equipe and ESPN both say he is ready to wait for Deschamps to leave the France job, whether that be after the 2022 World Cup or the European Championship in 2024.
Deschamps came under some pressure about France crashed out of Euro 2020 against Switzerland in the last 16 but he will at least see out his contract until 2022.
Spurs willing to offer £51m to sign Kounde
Tottenham could be willing to offer as much as £51m to sign France defender Jules Kounde from Sevilla, according to reports in Spain.
Real Madrid are also targeting Kounde but Sport claim it could difficult for the Spanish giants to sign him because Spurs are willing to go beyond what they could spend.
West Ham ‘in pole position to sign Abraham’
Tammy Abraham looks to be on his way out of Chelsea this summer and it is claimed West Ham have moved into pole position to sign the striker.
Football Insider reports West Ham have moved ahead of Aston Villa in the race for Abraham, who has also been linked with Wolves and Borussia Dortmund.
West Ham manager David Moyes is targeting a new centre forward this summer as the Hammers prepare for life in the Europa League next season.
Arsenal ‘agree £14.9m Lokonga deal’
After completing the £8.5m signing of sign Nuno Tavares yesterday, Arsenal have reportedly now agreed a £14.9m transfer for Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Fabrizio Romano claims the Gunners have completed the paperwork on a five-year deal for Lokonga and the transfer will be made official after the Anderlecht midfielder has undergone a quarantine period.
It has been reported in Belgium that Lokonga passed his Arsenal medical in Holland on Friday.
Arsenal also want to sign Brighton defender Ben White and are interested in Italy midfielder Manuel Locatelli.
