The Duke of Cambridge is being urged to bring Prince George along to Wembley for the Euro 2020 final. After Prince William celebrated England’s victory on Wednesday evening, many social media users joined in the celebrations and asked the future King to bring his firstborn along to see tonight’s game against Italy. One posted a picture taken last week of Prince George at Wembley, asking: “Please can we have this young man at the final Dad?”
Another poster replied: “Definitely. It would be lovely to see them there.
“What a memory to have, especially if they win.”
Prince George‘s love for football became known on his sixth birthday, when the Cambridges released two portraits of their firstborn wearing an England jersey.
In 2019, Kate even revealed that when it comes to football, she and George get off on the wrong foot.
During a royal visit to Northern Ireland, the Duchess played some football with a group of children at the Windsor Park football stadium.
The Duchess of Cambridge joked about her skills, saying that she should have picked up some tips from her oldest son, Prince George.
She claimed her firstborn often tells her: “Mummy, you’re so rubbish!”
At one point, William also warned teammates: “Look out!
“She goes for the ankles.”
It is hardly surprising that little George is such a huge fan of football since their dad is the President of the Football Association.
