Manchester United striker Anthony Martial will miss the FA Cup final against Manchester City due to a torn hamstring. The injury was sustained during United‘s win against Fulham on Sunday. The Frenchman has scored twice in United‘s last five fixtures. Martial’s absence will be felt by United as they currently only have on-loan striker Wout Weghorst as their other recognised striker. Weghorst has failed to score many goals since joining in January as he has only netted twice in 30 appearances across all competitions. The Cup final will take place this Saturday, with United trying to stop City from achieving a treble this season. Marcus Rashford, United’s top scorer this season with 30 goals, could be an option for the team as he has played several games as a striker during the campaign.
