Liverpool fans are eagerly anticipating the summer transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad following a season that has not gone quite to plan. One player who has been linked with a move to Anfield is Argentinian midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, who has been dubbed a transfer “target”.

The 23-year-old currently plays for Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League, but has spent this season on loan at Argentinos Juniors in his home country. Mac Allister has impressed during his loan spell, scoring six goals and providing six assists in 20 appearances, leading to speculation that Liverpool could make a move for him in the summer.

What is particularly interesting about Mac Allister is the fact that he shares a trait with Liverpool‘s star forward Mohamed Salah, which has been praised by manager Jürgen Klopp. The trait in question is the ability to make quick decisions and take shots on goal without hesitation. Klopp has called this trait “important” in the past, and it is something that has been a key part of Salah‘s success at Liverpool.

But Mac Allister is not the only player to possess this trait. Another player who has benefited from it is none other than Lionel Messi. The Barcelona and Argentina star is known for his ability to make split-second decisions and take shots on goal from unexpected angles, often catching defenders and goalkeepers off guard. It is a skill that has helped him become one of the greatest players of all time, and it is something that Mac Allister may be able to bring to Liverpool if he does make the move to Anfield.

Of course, there is no guarantee that Liverpool will sign Mac Allister this summer, and even if they do, there is no guarantee that he will be a success in the Premier League. But the fact that he possesses a trait that Klopp values so highly is certainly a positive sign. Liverpool will need to make some smart signings this summer if they are to bounce back from a disappointing season, and bringing in a player who can make quick, decisive decisions could be just what they need.

Overall, Liverpool fans will be hoping that the club is able to make some exciting signings in the summer, and Mac Allister could certainly fit the bill. His ability to make quick decisions and take shots on goal without hesitation is something that Klopp values highly, and it is a trait that has helped both Salah and Messi succeed at the highest level. Whether Mac Allister will have the same impact at Liverpool remains to be seen, but he certainly has the potential to be a valuable addition to the squad.
