How the FA Cup has impacted the fixture schedule  – The Athletic

Following the midweek FA Cup ties, we now have a clearer picture of what the rest of the FPL season looks like in terms of fixtures.

The excellent Ben Crellin has put together the below graphic to help us navigate the next few weeks. He kindly gave me permission to use it for this week’s column. 

The extra fixtures in Double Gameweek 26 (DGW26) should be confirmed soon, most likely next week. Saving or rolling a transfer this week is advisable if your team is already looking strong for Double Gameweek 24 (DGW24) as it would be good to have two frees next week once the DGW26 schedule is confirmed for maximum flexibility. 

It’s important to remember that the fixture schedule above is just a predicted schedule and things can (and probably will) change, but it gives us a pretty good idea of teams and players we need to be targeting with our transfers over the coming weeks.
